When you spend your life in pain…

He’s a Vietnam Veteran.

He lives his life in pain. Sometimes the white hot pain is searing through him and he can barely breathe. And sometimes he feels like he’s blacking out.

He has ways to cope. He prays. He meditates. He keeps moving rather than giving up.

Even now, in his 80s, he continues to fight, determined not to be taken down by this enemy.

In this fight, he has found moments - little crystals in time - where his meditations take him away to the tranquility of the Grand Canyon. Where he sits on a bench and finds comfort in the sacred.
